This year to mark the 15th anniversary of The international Design & Architecture Awards we have upgraded The Global Project Award. This is the Award given to the designer and all who have worked on an entire project. It was created in the spirit of collaboration a couple of years ago and this year will be upgrade to an Accolade Award and given as the penultimate Award of the evening.

BOMMA is a lighting brand distributed by TRENZSEATER from the Czech Republic, all hand blown glass which gives each piece a unique appearance and shape, tinted in various colours and some are available in pendants as well as table lamps.
The Ama Collection visually evokes the delicate shells of mussels that produce treasured pearls. Meticulously cut glass of substantial size encases a pearl in its center in the form of a light source providing soft ambient light.
Metamorphosis is a transformation from one form into another. Metamorphosis as the transformation of crystal into a stunning lighted jewel in any interior, creates a variable jewel that enables your own compositions.These are flawlessly presented in both craftsmanship and technical execution.The delicate geometric cut of the Metamorphosis Collection on hand-blown crystal comes alive with its internal light source, highlighting amber, clear or cigar colors. Just as stars from far-away in the sky, these seemingly small lighting objects fascinate us individually and become even stronger in groups.
Elegance, variability and an organic aesthetic, BOMMA introduces new MUSSELS collection. Imagine sparkling water hiding fascinating, incredibly detailed mussels. Two crystal shells surround a light source nested in a precise mounting within either glossy anthracite or brushed gold tones. The glass shell carries a rippling patterned imprint. When lit, it creates the effect of light reflecting from a water surface. Its inspiration in organic shapes, natural colors and the natural environment is apparent at first glance. .

This is a remarkable achievement not just to be short listed but to have been recognised year on year for the past 8 years at such a high international level. It is a testament to our passion for interior design and demonstrates our commitment to delivering projects of exceptional quality.
The International Design & Architecture Awards celebrate the excellence in the interior design and architecture industry on a global scale, recognized by leading designers and architects in the industry as the benchmark in global design. Hosted and featured in leading interior design magazine “design et al”, along with being published in their special
hard cover book with all the shortlisted entries + winners these awards will receive exposure and recognition on a global scale that will be highly publicized.
The International Design & Architecture Awards are held in September at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, where the sponsors will announce and award the winning entries with their trophies. As part of the judging process, like last year, the public has an opportunity to vote for their favourite entry, there were over 90000 votes last year, so we will be in touch closer the time when voting opens in August this year.

The SBID International Design Awards has firmly established itself as one of the most prestigious interior design Awards in the global design calendar. This Award for design standards attracts entries from across the world, making it truly an honour and a sign of industry recognition that is second to none for the deserving winners.
The awards recognise, reward and celebrate design excellence across a broad range of categories spanning Interior Design, Fit-Out and Product. Winning a SBID International Design Award is a high achievement – they are evaluated by leading industry experts for their technical content and aesthetic creativity while the design-conscious public also have a say in voting for the most inspiring projects.
